Dr. Gopal Saxena – Chairman and Managing Trustee

Dr. Gopal Saxena graduated from I.I.T Delhi in Electrical engineering and obtained an M.B.A degree from the world renowned Institute of Management Development (IMD), Switzerland (among the top 5 European Business Schools), and PhD from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (the no. 1 law school in India). He was senior professor of management at IBS Bangalore, visiting professor at I.I.M Trichy and guest lecturer at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He was primarily instrumental in setting up Shishya School and continues to be its Managing Trustee since its inception in 1994. Prior to entering the teaching field Dr. Saxena served in senior positions in private and public sector organisations.

Mrs. Deepa Saxena – Trustee

Mrs. Deepa Saxena holds a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and has been the Trustee and member of the School Managing Committee since its inception. She played a major role in the establishment and administration of Shishya School especially in its early stages, and actively manages the affairs of the Trust.
