THE SHISHYA SCHOOL ECOSYSTEM.

On 31st August 2022, the Founder’s Day celebrated across the Shishya Schools Group, the Trust launched a unique and innovative initiative – “THE SHISHYA SCHOOL ECOSYSTEM”. A new logo was also designed incorporating the existing logo of the Shishya Group (shown alongside).

This unique initiative was conceptualised in response to the distress caused by the Covid pandemic to educational institutions, especially the pre-primary schools across the country which were mandatorily closed for almost 3 academic years. These schools struggled to reopen after the pandemic, and even regular schools and higher institutions witnessed a significant change in pattern of admissions. In this scenario the Trustees of Sri Krishna Education Trust decided to lend a helping hand wherever required and the idea of “THE SHISHYA SCHOOL ECOSYSTEM” was evolved.

Under this programme the Trust would approach pre-schools in the vicinity of any of their establishments with an offer of assistance in strengthening their operations and ensuring their growth and prosperity. This assistance was offered without any fee, charge or inducement. Schools were invited to join the ecosystem, and those willing to do so would be provided with a letter of offering and a badge (shown below):

To begin with the programme was introduced with the Trust’s Shishya BEML Public School acting as the focal centre. A member of the Ecosystem was entitled to avail of the facilities available at the nearest Shishya group school (in this case it was Shishya BEML Public School).

The initiative has received very enthusiastic response with seven pre-schools already agreeing to join the Ecosystem, and many more evincing interest.
